He joined Roland Berger in 2011 and has since established a new practice in the Middle East focusing on sustainability and addressing the major problems concerning the environment and climate change.
Mr. Tohme is leading topics related to circular economy, effective resources, waste & water management, and green technologies. He has successfully led transformative projects for governments and the private sector.
Some of his key projects include setting national waste and recycling champions as well as supporting governments develop national master plans in line with the concepts of circular economy.
Recently, he introduced the topic of waste management and recycling to the COP27 with the newly launched initiative of 50 by 2050, aiming to boost recycling in the African continent to 50%.
