Elle Runton is a marketing expert and business development strategist with more than two decades of excellence in the marketing industry. Her experience has seen development of marketing strategy and behavior change plans with multi-national companies, government departments, and non-profit organizations.
Currently working with Emirates Nature, the UAE’s representation of the globally renowned environmental organization, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Elle leads the strategic planning and implementation of the Re-Think Plastic Project,tackling plastic pollution with the aim of achieving No Plastic in Nature. The projects include pilot studies and initiatives to support the doubling recycling, diversion from landfill, increased use of secondary materials, and industry led innovation that could lead to a reduction in carbon emissions.
Elle plays a strategic role in liaising with industry stakeholders in the UAE and Gulf region, her speaking engagements include Government forums and the Responsible Care conferences of the Gulf Petro Chemical Association.
